Our Story

Covenant's Story

The short version of our story starts with a burden God placed on the hearts of our leadership to be a part of a church planting movement. Growing up in this area, we knew all too well that although religion is prevalent here, communities who seek to live out the message and mercy of Jesus were not. Christianity is talked about, but lives transformed by the power of God can be rare. In light of that fact, our vision was to create a gospel-focused faith family that was serious about following Jesus, living in joyful obedience to the Word of God and being a gospel light where we live, work, and play.

Our desire is to manifest Jesus to our city.  Instead of ministering on the basis of people coming to us, we aim to take the message and mercy of Christ to the people in our neighborhoods, networks, and nations
